Practice, practice, practice

Practice makes perfect.  Is that the point?  To achieve perfection?

In the journey, lies the key.  Practice, practice, practice, is about the journey.

Working the work.  Learning the way. Trying what is impossible.  Carving out what is tight and difficult and feels as though it will will not move.  Trying something that feels impossible – failing and trying again and again.  That is practice.  It helps create patience. It helps us stay on track.

Pilates is a journey of practice.  A life long journey.  A beautiful road of learning ~ of failing and trying again and again.

Enjoying the ride, not looking for perfection, but finding glory in being able to move your body, heal your mind, and feed your soul.  That’s what this practice is all about.

It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner, or you are starting up again, or you are a seasoned professional, it’s all the same:

practice is the music in the work.  It’s what Joe was talking about when he said to do just ten minutes a day with all of your mind present and you will change yourself.  You change your outlook on life. You will breath better.  You will move better, you will feel better. You will show up in life better!

So what do you say?  Let’s practice!  Give me a call at 303-243-0570 or send me an e-mail at pilatesinparker@yahoo.com.  I look forward to hearing from you!
