“Breathing is the first act of life, and the last. Our very life depends on it. Since we cannot live without breathing it is tragically deplorable to contemplate the millions and millions who never mastered the art of correct breathing.” – Joseph Pilates

Yet many of us go around moving from day to day taking in as little breath as possible.

The tightness of our chest and rib cage speaks volumes to the life we have been living. Constant rushing, pushing, squeezing it all in – we barely take a breath. We gasp for air, for true oxygen, for a break to breath.

Breath – true deep breath, that fills you up, that calms your nervous system down, is priceless.  It can calm any storm in your life.  Breathing deep helps you restore your thoughts.  It renews your energy.  It nourishes our soul.

Breath: without it, we have nothing.  A life rushed, forced, without margin, isn’t true living: it’s gasping for air – for life itself.

The body is begging you to give it more oxygen.

Inhale deeply.  Exhale completely.  See for yourself how life improves.
